Sounds good but hard work. I have a vegetable garden, large greenhouse and Berry/herb garden. This along with fruit trees and 3 bee hives. Even with this size garden I can't grow enough vegetables for two people contiguously. I am doing what is recommended with plant small amounts frequently I get good crops. But I preserve tomatoes and used last year 40 kgs. If you want to be self sufficient in vegetables and fruit you would need in my estimation at least 3 acres. What do you think you would need to feed yourself just with vegetables and fruit.

I can see myself riding shotgun and raiding a small store and drug store. Give everyone a tetanus shot.
Get medical supplies and a few simple first aid. I will have to learn to farm and grow things.
Meanwhile, I will stock up , put stuff in plastic bags and containers. Hide them in the ground or whatever.
Mark them as graves, so maybe they wouldnt be disturbed. This would buy me sometime to learn to farm.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a member of the White House’s coronavirus task force, told NBC Nightly News’ Richard Engel Monday that the illness — which has infected 100 people, killing six in the US — is “an evolving situation.”
“We’re dealing with clearly an emerging infectious disease that is now reached outbreak proportions and likely pandemic proportions,” he said. “If you look at, you know, by multiple definitions of what a pandemic is, the fact is this is multiple sustained transmissions of a highly infectious agent in multiple regions of the globe.”
