Now the Cable/ Wifi company is offering a deal.
No installation. No equipment fees. No contract.
For $19.99 a month. Twenty channels -- No sports.
However, if I get an antenna, I can pick up some of the channels .
If the Cable/Wifi carrier made better deals before I might have kept it.

This process is how you get local broadcast stations and, as such, is ideal for news and sports. You can get a good HD antenna for less than $40, and like with a regular antenna, there are no subscription fees. However, your channel selection depends a lot on where you live, as well as your line of sight to the broadcast location.
Bob, I had cut the cable cord a while back. I was paying $110.00/ month for one cable box without premium channels --HBO, Showtime , etc.
My friend gave me the Roku streaming stick for my birthday. He opened a whole new world for me.
With Roku and their channels, plus hulu , netflix and youtube. The only thing I miss is BBCAMERICA for Orphan Black and the Oprah Winfrey Network -OWN. So I visit my brother and catch up -On Demand.
With wifi, I can use my 2 tablets, tv and android cell phone.
For half the price.
